I felt so bad about Chase's immunizations yesterday that we stopped and got him his first ice cream cone.
Chase & his cone

Playing in it

Big bite

He doesn't understand the concept yet that you have to hold it right-side-up

Mmmm!

Messy boy

A bath to clean-up (you can see 3 of his 4 bandaids. so sad!)

Also, Chase had started getting his legs stuck between the bars of his crib. It really scares him, and he wakes up screaming bloody murder. It's hard to even get them out at all. We took down his bumpers at 6 months like doc said. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated!

They make breathable thin bumpers that are not as scary for SIDS as the other bumpers. Amazon has them. We have those on Emmy's crib because she likes to nuzzle her face on something.
See what you think.
I didn't know you had to take down your crib bumbers. Mandy is a definite nuzzler when she's sleeping. Though she actually doesn't have them up because she's in a smaller, portable crib, so she sticks limbs through the bars, too.
I hate when it's time for shots. Chase is so cute with his ice cream cone.
We actually took them down when he started to stand, because they can use them to climb on and get out of their crib (and thus, fall on their head). We never really worried about sids and the bumpers. Chase didn't start nuzzling into them until he was crawling and could move around; and at that point they're not really a risk.
