While in Las Vegas Katie introduced me to a new dessert that she learned to love while living in Europe, it's called gelato... and it is threatening to ruin my diet, because it's sooooo good :)
Shortly after returning from Las Vegas, my co-worker told me about a little Italian restaurant in Provo called Little Italy. I don't know all the details on it, but apparently it is owned by a real Italian Family and he told me that they made real gelato! So of course that evening I talked Katie into trying it out with me (it took a lot of convincing ;) Anyway we went and they make fabulous gelato!!!
Katie tends to like the more creamy flavours (spelled with a U because it's a European treat) like Chocolate Hazelnut and Coconut; I prefer the fruitier flavours like Mango and Strawberry. Anyway it's our new favorite treat, and we highly recommend that you all go out and try it. It's located on the corner of 3rd South and 3rd East in Provo.

Gelato is AMAZING. Luckily, it's also incredibly overpriced, so I rarely eat it. (Maybe it's just incredibly overpriced here in Vegas; wouldn't surprise me)
The Venetian has the best gelato.
