I officially hate our camera. It was great when it was just me and Tim and we sat still and posed for every picture. Now that we have Chase, ours is driving me nuts. Once I press the button it delays about 3 seconds, or sometimes says "processing" for like 30 seconds. Inevitably, by the time the picture is taken Chase is rarely still in the picture, and if he is, he's usually looking away, lunging at the camera, or has a stoned look on his face. I have to take about 50 shots to get one good one. Anybody with kids have a great recommendation for a camera that actually TAKES the picture when you press the button?? (a lot to ask i know)
I'm thinking about buying this one:

or this one:

If you have any experience with either of them, please let me know!

I have no idea. My camera does alright, but I have the same delay problem (though it doesn't seem to be as long as yours). I also take dozens of photos to get that one shot!
Good luck
I think that Canon is the one we just got Lauren for Christmas. Ask her. Maybe, if you're nice, she'll let you take it for a 'test shoot'.
We have the sony cybershot. Good camera...the lense cover thing doesn't open any more though (had it for 2 years now). It takes good pics and it has a pretty fast shutter speed so you can capture those little moments.
An even better camera though is the Canon Rebel xti. I generous donor in my family donating that camera to us and you'll NEVER have to hire a professional again. Seriously.....even bozos like me can take great pictures.
Hope that helps.
