Still no teeth...

Chase still has no teeth. Although every time we go out in public (for the last month or two, at least) all these old ladies comment on his teething since he's always chewing on his fists, or the edge of his carrier, or anything else he can find. The pediatrician told us some babies can "teethe" for months before they actually cut a tooth, and some babies only "teethe" for a few days before their first tooth. Anyways, we went to dinner last week, and Chase was sitting on tim's lap and eying his food even though he had just eaten. So Tim stuck the end of a pickle spear into Chase's mouth, kind of to show him "hey, this isn't that great, you don't want it" and also probably because he just wanted to see the sour expression on his face. Unfortunately Chase LOVED it. He chewed the whole thing down to the rind and then we had to ask for more because he screamed when we took it out. It was so bizzare, and I was a little afraid it was going to hurt his stomach, but he was totally fine. The next day I read that some babies like to chew on things like pickles and watermelon rind when they're teething, but I still thought it was funny. So here is a picture of Chase and his pickle.


Also here is a picture of Chase hanging out in his "TV chair" which I think so cute. I actually let him watch Signing Time last week because I want to teach him to sign and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Too bad for me.
